🗣️ Michael Carrick:
"I was so happy for Leny [Yoro]; he really did very well [with France]. I watched the match, and it's fantastic to see moments like that. It's a memory he'll keep for the rest of his life, just like his family and friends.
I thought he really played very well; he looked comfortable and seemed to be enjoying it. It was undoubtedly a perfect debut, so yes, I was happy for him."
🗣️ Michael Carrick:
"I'm also pleased for Josh [Zirkzee]. He works very hard in training, he wants more opportunities, of course. He came back full of energy [after his goal with the Netherlands], so it's great to see."
🗣️ Carlos Baleba: “Who would be a better manager? Not me. I don't want to be a manager”.
🗣️ Amad: “Maybe me. Maybe people don't see it, but I'm good when I motivate people.
“I can be a good manager, but I don't think I’m going to be a manager”.
