DBN Gogo is gearing up to make South African music history!

The award-winning amapiano DJ, producer, and powerhouse is set to become the first female DJ in South Africa to pull off a full 24-hour DJ set.

The epic event will run from midnight on Saturday, 4 April 2026, straight through to midnight on Sunday, 5 April 2026 (that’s a solid 24 hours behind the decks with no breaks!).

She’s framing it as a personal challenge against herself, testing discipline, endurance, and creativity while celebrating community, culture, and amapiano’s global rise.

DBN Gogo to perform a 24-hour DJ set!

Award-winning DJ, and cultural powerhouse DBN Gogo is set to make history as the first female DJ in South Africa to perform a 24-hour DJ set, taking place from midnight on Saturday, 04 April 2026, through to midnight on Sunday, 05 April 2026.

"I’m beyond excited to make history with this 24-hour set, and I want everyone to be part of this journey with me.  Let’s dance, celebrate, and create unforgettable memories together, from the first beat to the very last," she said.

"This isn’t just a DJ set, it’s a marathon of music, energy, and community, and I can’t wait to share it with all my supporters. Bring your energy, your love for music, and let’s make history together!", says DBN Gogo.

Throughout the 24-hour journey, DBN Gogo will be joined by major industry DJs, collaborating across select moments to create a dynamic, high-energy experience that celebrates community and the power of South African music culture. 

The experience is designed as a continuous sonic journey curated to celebrate sound, stamina, culture, and community, while cementing DBN Gogo’s place as a pioneer redefining what is possible for women in the music industry globally.
