@sarobertson_ They gave us the best treatment in the world?…by initially imposing tariffs despite the current Agmt? Looking to impose new tariffs on smoke?threatening our sovereignty?crying foul when we take action to defend ourselves? CAN needs to stop the friendship BS, it’s not working
@BottomLineFBN@StephenMoore@dagenmcdowell@DavidAsmanfox How is it when the US started the tariff fiasco that Canada is cheating? There is a signed agreement in place and the US decided not to abide by its terms…if anyone is ‘cheating’ it would be them.
@jimsciutto@CdnChamberofCom ‘Negotiating’ to the US is a one-way street. We already have a trade agreement and the US does not respect that. A true ally would not bully or threaten its partners…show some level of respect.
@RepTenney How has CAN unfairly targeted alcohol, dairy, & vehicles? Care to explain? Relationships between allies doesn’t mean all for one, none for the other. If the US tried to work together with CAN, as opposed to bullying them, there would be no Can boycott of alcohol.
@FoodProfessor David vs Goliath …. Don’t underestimate Canada’s intelligence. The US has a lot of military might but still can’t end the war because they handed over control of the strait without thinking.
@FoodProfessor I’m sure Canada has had more than 3 meetings already…PM Carney is looking out for Canada and the US are sulking. That’s how they ‘negotiate’.
@FoodProfessor@globalnews I don’t think Mexico has to rake the forest first…or walk on water 🙄. Canada is at the table…it’s the US who chooses not to be.
@davidaxelrod Despite the current forest fire threatening Canada, he chose to further threaten Canada instead of having a supportive discussion and offering help. And we are allies?
I’m not sure who is more merciless…Mother Nature or the president.
@Acyn It’s a privilege of the President…unfortunately the people elected a president that abused it by pardoning criminals who did his bidding, and pardoning those who have shown loyalty to him.
@RepTenney Canada was at the table, willing to renew for 16 years… it’s the US who didn’t meet them there… get your facts straight. The US initially came looking for chaos with its closest ally, and Canadians didn’t appreciate the betrayal. Sorry you can’t can’t understand that.
@sarobertson_ Unreal, how dumb of a response. Canadians were basically minding their own business until the threats to our sovereignty started. Trying to ‘both sides’ this is just more of the same arrogance & attitude that Canadians don’t deserve.
