We just got the 1-seed vs the 8-seed in the 2nd Round instead of the 1st Round.

The Hurricanes swept the Flyers with ease.

Why - when a game goes to shootout - do the goals, or at least 1 of them to losing goalie not count towards stats for that game, and/or saves in the shootout - but - an in game penalty shot resulting in a goal - does count?
