Sunil Kumar Sharma, a devoted and tireless servant of the Sikh Panth, passed away at the age of 62 after battling a serious illness.
He stood shoulder to shoulder with the families of Sikh martyrs, supported those who continued the struggle, and remained a steadfast friend to countless members of the Panthic community. Throughout his life, he was known for his unwavering commitment to Sikh causes and community service.
Whether it was organizing blood donation drives, participating in seminars, supporting peaceful demonstrations, or helping coordinate community gatherings, Sunil Sharma was always at the forefront. He dedicated himself to the Panth around the clock, carrying its concerns and working selflessly for its welfare.
A resident of Delta, British Columbia, he had made Canada his home for nearly three decades. Originally from Ludhiana, Punjab, he had strong ties to Punjab Agricultural University, where much of his early life and background were rooted.
His passing is a significant loss to the Panthic community. He will be remembered for his dedication, humility, and lifelong commitment to serving others. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his family and loved ones find strength during this difficult time.
@officeofssbadal 100% Agreed but why did Parkash Singh Badal changed his views after coming into power in 1997 when Bibi Khalra approached him? @Akali_Dal_ betrayed too after death of Bhai Khalra that is the main issue. All political parties betrayed him
@WaliRuchi@tomblackwellNP Everyone in the Sikh community goes to Darbar Sahib Amritsar, and every Sikh knows about the killings done by Indira Gandhi, Beant Singh and General Vaidya. You will be surprised to see the photos of the people who killed these three monsters at Darbar Sahib Amritsar Ajaib ghar.
@danvir_chauhan Defender of faith and Martyr for Sikhs
Same thing can be said about those people who attacked Sri Darbar Sahib and other 32-40 Gurudwaras on same date.
@kushal_mehra Read about “Sikh” religion and you will get all the answers. Jathedar of Akal Takht is Supreme for all Sikhs, doesn’t matter if Sikh becomes PM,CM or president.
@AmarJit_IFS Again why GOI intentionally choose Mandir for giving life certificate. I have never seen Khalistan supporters going outside Mandirs when GOI officials are not there. Stop with the propaganda of Hindu vs Sikhs. Everyone live in Canada with harmony.
Yes sir i had gone through your tweets and figured out that you are confused between word Genocide and Pogrom due to your experience of working for state. It’s completely understandable because your family was saved fortunately that’s why you are not recognizing Genocide as Genocide.
Thanks
@AmarJit_IFS Sir 1984 Genocide is not forgettable, it’s not about demands it’s about Pain, remembering those who died, raped and suffering. I think you didn’t understood my point. Anyways Thank you and May god bless you
@AmarJit_IFS I respect your opinion but when GOI knows that from Oct 31- Nov 3 this happens every year and senior citizen’s time is wasted because of this issue why they specifically organize in these days specially after high commissioner’s role in foreign interference came.
@AmarJit_IFS Why did GOI officials do this in starting of November because they knew what happened to Sikhs on first days of November, still they do that in these days and Khalistan supporters show up. I think GOI should do that in other month or at least other days
