And we're back. I believe it was only a minor technical issue this time. Seems the site was out of whack and the host has now refilled the quantum energy supply (or something). -CB
Frustratingly, Simtropolis is down again. I've informed Dirk and hopefully the host can investigate soon. Based on the SSL Error, it seems this is unrelated to the web server issue the other week. -CB
Simtropolis is back online. As of yet, I'm still awaiting details on what was wrong, but the big positive is it's un-wrong now. 😉
We'll take that as good news, and the site seems to be running fine without data loss. (If I find out any details, I'll post again.)

Update 10pm EST:
No new news, other than Dirk has contacted the web host, and they're investigating the trouble. Potentially the site could return at a moment's notice, but more likely this will be an extended downtime.
Thanks for your patience. Simtropolis will return. 👍

Simtropolis is down due to a web server hiccup. The cause is presently unknown, but it's possibly due to host maintenance like earlier in the year. We're looking into it, and hope the site can return online soon. -CB
We invite you to post about the new #CitiesSkylines2 release here on the Simtropolis forums, as a friendly welcoming environment to discuss aspects of all city-building games. 🏙️👍

Update: Good news. It turns out there was scheduled server maintenance early this morning, and I didn't get the notice since it went to my ST email. All is well and just taking a wee bit longer than they expected. ST should just spring back to life when it's all sorted.
Simtropolis is currently down due to a web server issue. I've contacted Webmaster Dirk to investigate from the hosting side. There's no current ETA for when the site will return, but we hope it can be resolved as soon as is technically possible. Thanks all for your patience. -CB
We invite you to take part in the new #20yearsSC4 "Walkable City" Challenge, where the aim is to creatively develop a city featuring the new zoneable pedmalls from NAM 47!

@vertexnormal Hi Michael, we appreciate the message! The entire SC4 community sincerely thanks you and the entire Maxis crew for the work you did back then. The foundations you built is the sole reason the community has developed, and sustained the game's longevity to this day. 👍
