Many people who don't read your full posts, or only see some of the larger engagement ones in "For You" treat these as "breaking news alerts" that flop, instead of your consistent opinion that the US-Iran war is functionally over. That's why they feel like repeated false alarms.
@MarioNawfal Sounds like a loyalty test from a regime that just killed 42,000 people who spoke out against it.
Pretty sure everyone is signing that regardless of how they feel.
So they are now automating something you previously were legally required to do.
People comparing this to voting are ignoring all facts. Registering to vote makes you subject to jury duty selection, puts you on lists that will make your contact info available to some groups, and in many states publishes your name etc on a public registrar (along with your party selections).
These are not the same.
2+ US banks fail (almost) every year in the US regardless of macroeconomic conditions, much more in tough conditions.
I don't think this is the doomsday or meme contract people think it is.
Businesses fail all the time, even banks. Banks are just more likely to be acquired before officially failing as the asset value is obviously more transferable than say a Pirate themed restaurant.

@BasedMikeLee Just like federal and various state income taxes have been first introduced as a temporary measure.
To think wasteful governments will only need a one time injection of cash and then suddenly become solvent and be able to fulfill the needs of their constituents is crazy.
If it has to go through NGOs to actually get done, I don't think it'll work out. Their incentives just aren't aligned with fixing the problem. Even if the money/budget looks good on paper for now.
The solution can't only come down to spending more money to house people. It is a short term band-aid and needs to be in conjunction with fixing the housing development restrictions, making housing affordable overall, and creating real job opportunities so people can help themselves get back on their feet.
