दिल्ली और NCR के अन्य शहरों के बीच की सड़कों पर भीड़ कम करने के लिए दिल्ली और केंद् सरकार मिलकर छह बड़ी सड़क परियोजनाओं पर काम कर रहे हैं. यह कदम केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी और दिल्ली कr मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा इस संबंध में समीक्षा बैठक किए जाने के एक हफ़्ते बाद उठाया गय��� है. इस बैठक के दौरान NCR की प्रमुख सड़कों पर भीड़ कम करने की योजना पर चर्चा की गई थी.

इसके बाद गुरुवार को दिल्ली की सीएम रेखा गुप्ता ने सरकार के इस फैसले की जानकारी दी. इस प्रोजेक्ट के तहत नए एक्सप्रेस वे, टनल, एलिवेटेड कॉरिडोर और सर्विस रोड बनाएंगे जाएंगे. सीएम रेखा गुप्ता ने कहा कि इन प्रोजेक्ट का उद्देश्य राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र में ट्रैफिक जाम को कम करना है.
