Message of Heartfelt Congratulations from the Republic of Balochistan on the Occasion of India’s Independence Day

Honourable Prime Minister and the 1.4 billion people of Bharat,

On this sacred and proud occasion of India’s Independence, we, on behalf of the Republic of Balochistan, extend our congratulations from the depths of our hearts. From the Republic of Balochistan, we pay our deepest homage to all the martyrs and freedom fighters of India who played a pivotal role in the liberation of their motherland. Leaders and heroes such as Mahatma Gandhi, Subhas Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Rani Lakshmibai, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and countless unsung others sacrificed their lives and comforts with unmatched courage and determination, lighting the path to freedom. Their immortal sacrifice continues to inspire all nations striving for justice and self-determination.

The most sacred symbol of these centuries-old bonds is the Hinglaj Mata Temple situated on the soil of Balochistan and serving as India’s spiritual connection. This temple has kept both nations bound together for centuries and will continue to bind future generations in an unbreakable bond of love, affection, and friendship. It is not merely a place of worship; it is our shared spiritual heritage that has always drawn us closer to each other and will continue to do so in the future.

For seventy years, by remaining distant from each other, we only gave Pakistan the opportunity to conduct propaganda at the diplomatic level. It travelled across the world spreading rumours and falsehoods about Balochistan, claiming it to be its internal matter, whereas the reality is far removed from this. When friends hesitate to establish contact and engage in mutual cooperation, enemies find the opportunity to conspire. The stance of the people of Balochistan is absolutely clear: Pakistan does not possess even a single legal, diplomatic, political, or moral documentary proof that Balochistan was ever legally incorporated into it. Had any such page existed, they would certainly have waved it in their parliament and at the United Nations yet the truth is that they have no such evidence. That is why, along with the six crore Baloch, the one hundred and forty crore people of India and the entire world have gradually come to understand this forced and illegal occupation by Pakistan.

Our clear message to the global community is this: allowing a cancer like Pakistan to thrive instead of uprooting it would amount to grave diplomatic and political suicide.

Honourable Prime Minister, it is your long-cherished dream and manifesto to make India the world’s third-largest economy. By laying the foundation of Make in India, you have set India on the path of economic and defence self-reliance. We feel proud that the Republic of Balochistan can give wings to this dream. Balochistan can open its seaports for India’s trade and provide a large market for the goods produced under Make in India. From needles to ships, dams, infrastructure, educational institutions, the energy sector, rail road, air ports, and critical minerals exploration we need the modern technology and skills that India possesses. If we join hands with each other, India can become the world’s second-largest economy; the minerals of Balochistan, entrusted to the Baloch nation, can bring an economic revolution to the region; and by expelling Pakistan from the soil of Balochistan, the roque state of Pakistan can be deprived of the plunder of Balochistan’s trillions of dollars worth of minerals so that it can neither spread terrorism in Kashmir nor fund unrest in the region.
