Guards have to walk to yards Carrying heavy luggage & walking and crossing on many busy running lines is an herculean task. Sometimes will have to sneak through stranded vehicles.

Even after 75 years of Independence, No serious efforts were made to provide Water, Toilet, Fan, Light in Goods Brake Van when we were preparing for Bullet Train. It is an absolute disgrace for the Railways.

Ministry of Railways insisting to carry the Detonators in the personal possession of Guards. All along these Detonators which are Explosive in nature used to secure in a Steel Box. Now Line Box eliminated.

Guards will have to carry a tin containing 10 Detonators & its components are equivalent to a Hand Grenade.If the Detonators are robbed,Law enforcing agencies definitely harass Guards and their family members

In accordance with GR 4.19 & SRs, framed under Section 198 of Indian Railway Act, Personal equipment for Guards is supplied. It is a Government property & Guards used to secure it in Steel Box called Line-Box.
