Ordered last night on your app. Still waiting 24 hours later. "PC Express" is a joke. "Technical issues" isn't an excuse for zero communication and missed deliveries. Why am I paying a monthly fee for this "service"? 🤨🛒 #Loblaws #pcexpress

Pre-release right now. 10 years PM experience across multiple industries where this product would fit in, 1 failed AI startup alumni :) . No better time when everyone wants AI to summarize or QA or create their documents but there’s lot of negative sentiment about hallucination, data privacy. Our edge AI based aolution solves all the problems!

[Ledge Hack @SinghWanderer]

@SherryYanJiang Correct! If I had to choose between multiple products solving same problem, I would most likely go with product which gives me better experience.

Do you think in the long run "vibe-coded" products are going to become a norm? Please comment if none of the options apply!

The waitlist is close to 20 now. Not high in context of successful stories I come across here, but hope to hit 100 by the time we are live next week. Godspeed 😇

Thanks fellow builders for comments, messages and joining waitlist. I have fixed mobile responsiveness of the website, and replaced "Get Started" link under features section to "join waitlist". Will post soon again.

[Ledge Hack @SinghWanderer]

Some questions in DMs from fellow builders made me realize I should have made it clearer on the website. Nexa works on your browser. No need for desktop apps. The models are optimised for web apps specifically.

Not much of an update, but website is up and waitlist is open. Planning to launch by 15th September. https://t.co/oHGc3rCDm6

Google isn’t just releasing edge AI models—they’re betting a lot of resources on it. Gemma 3 → EmbeddingGemma → what’s next?
It’s quite evident AI is moving to YOUR device- private , fast, always available.

This shift got me excited to build https://t.co/VVWozjNGsq—pushing edge AI capabilities even further.
Waitlist open and Early access in week of Sept 15th. Open to feedback on website and questions welcome. I will be sharing my progress starting next week.

I am building an AI notebook app (think NotebookLM) that runs entirely offline in your web browser. Yes, no desktop app is needed—unlike what major offline AI app players are doing. I have tested Small Language Models, and they do a good job of delivering context and summaries of documents you upload in the app. The cherry on top is a lite, ChatGPT-style feature you can use to brainstorm or for anything you like! Nothing ever leaves your device, and you don't have to pay $40-$50 for multiple AI apps. I believe it's going to be very useful for students, academics, and researchers. What do you think?

4/⚠️ The challenges ahead:Early users report search quality inconsistencies and AI relevancy issues. Reddit is prioritizing:
Product stability before full launch

User feedback integration:
Monetization through contextual search ads
The real test: Can AI maintain the authenticity that makes Reddit valuable?

🎯 The bigger picture:This isn't just about search—it's about platform evolution. Reddit is leveraging its community-driven content to challenge the traditional search paradigm dominated by algorithm-gamed results.

3/ 🗓️ Key milestones
Dec 2024: Reddit Answers launches in beta—AI summaries from real Reddit discussions
Feb 2025: Q4 shareholder letter positions Answers as core growth driver Apr 2025: Global expansion to all English-speaking markets Summer 2025: Integration of traditional search with AI Answers begins Aug 2025: Full global beta + phased rollout clarifications
💡 Why this matters:Reddit sits on a goldmine of authentic user-generated content that people already append "site:https://t.co/tjQ3DTbL9z" to their Google searches to find.
Now Reddit is cutting out the middleman, serving answers directly from community discussions with AI-powered summaries.
