I don't understand the "watch AKD fail" mentality that some people seem to be adopting.
I want AKD to succeed.
Too often we treat politics like a game of cricket, where we pick teams and stew in bitterness until our team can win again.

I want to appreciate the fact that the next president of Sri Lanka inherits a country in much better economic shape than it was two years ago. For that, credit is due to a 75 year old guy without a team that not a lot of people like. He kept his promise despite finger-pointing.
