These are the new Boston Dynamics Spot robots deployed in Dallas for the 2026 FIFA World Cup

They are being used for security at World Cup venues in the Dallas area

Their jobs include:

- Perimeter security inspections
- Assisting with suspicious packages or hazardous materials
- General patrol and surveillance support for security teams
- They do not have facial recognition but they do have cameras and sensors

The robot uses its 360° cameras, sensors thermal, acoustic and AI to spot anomalies like suspicious packages and unauthorized people in restricted areas
