Finally, @FishingFrenzyCo Chapter 2 is live! What are the essentials for successful play?

► First of all, you need 120k Karma

You can get it by playing, referring other players, or staking. Staking is the easiest option, just stake 10k $FISH ($15) for 360 days.

After this, you can complete quests daily and get additional rewards. With this xFISH, you could repair rods, buy a battle pass, and so on.

► Fishing in a cavern

That's the second important thing. You want to unlock all the possible fish for cooking. Use the NFT rod (for the rare one, the repair price is 700 xFISH) to gather resources and unlock the fish one by one.

► Resource management

Don't spend it all in one day. You need to get 2000 points daily to spin the wheels with prizes. Save the unused fish to sell for the quest (the cheapest one) and add to the collection. If the rod is broken and you are planning to repair it, but the quest is completed, repair it the next day, and so on.

► Karma Pass, Packs

I think pass is always good, I'll buy it later from in-game rewards, for now, just leveling. You can buy it from the start if you need more resources; it's always the best option for money if you are playing a lot.

Pack for 35k $FISH looks very good, thinking about buying it. It's resources for months of playing and Mythic baits could be used during competitions (there were a few to catch Mythic fish).

► Leaderboards

To participate in leaderboards, you need to get 200k Karma. Same as with additional rewards, it is easier to get it via staking.

Without big investments, it's hard to get top places, but even with mid placements, it's a good source of $FISH and rods.

You can also collect resources for a few weeks and push leaderboards for a week, with a good chance of placing near the top. (but not during events, most of the players are saving gold/sushi for events)

► Cooking or Auarium?

Your fish is limited, so you can cook it or add it to your collection (I don't like selling fish, so it's not an option for me). My collection is at 17% but my answer is cooking. You can collect a lot of resources from your collection, but in the cooking leaderboard, you can get $FISH.

I have acquired a good chunk of $FISH from @FishingFrenzyCo at open market.

Here's why am bullish:
1.) I worked alongside @xderek and @0xconfucian and their intentions are fully aligned with community and supporters.
2.) Gaming TGE's haven't been doing well and generally are down 50-80% in day 1. $FISH been holding well.
3.) It's super undervalued. $FISH isn't just a token connected to fishingfrenzy but trying something new reward mechanism.
4.) Team has no tokens until certain milestones are reached.
5.) I feel like we need to support teams who have been here and haven't given up on a industry which everyone dunks on now. If you are here still in web3 gaming you should get some $FISH.

this keeps things fun, not just for players, but also for us

re the token, we have big ambitions for FISH and POC

acquiring new players to the game

all of these are tremendously difficult to execute individually and even harder to do so all at once, so we do not expect things to happen over night and will also be going after our goals one at a time

that said we have thought these through many times over and trade-offs that we make are a reflection of the strategy and what we think would pay off eventually

some thoughts going into a TGE for our game @FishingFrenzyCo

- overall feeling a weird mixture of stress, anxiety, anticipation, excitement and optimism

- there is a LOT of stuff that needs to go into a token. from an execution perspective its the same as building and marketing a whole new product (while building your actual game)

- its really hard to predict what will happen, which makes decisions hard. high or low starting price? high or low supply? any unlocks? how to allocate airdrop? we couldn’t find a silver bullet - only tradeoffs

- the market and gaming sentiment makes it particularly tough. although i think most people know that and expectations are getting reset on gaming tokens

- going into this planning for the worst, while hoping for the best. my assumption is things will go wrong and there will be a lot of FUD. a proper plan also isn’t just about day 1 of launch, but also what comes after

- lastly, i think we’ve done a lot of what we can to set it up for success, given the circumstances and resources. lets see what happens
