Coming out as NB can be terrifying. Talking about your gender identity and pronouns can be terrifying. This is not something done for attention. Not when it carries such a huge risk. A person using pronouns different to those they've used in the past is not to your detriment.

I am a #nonbinary person. I may not have a preference in terms of pronouns, but being mis-gendered makes me feel uncomfortable in a way that is hard to describe. Being mis-gendered by someone who's aware of my gender identity hurts.

I knew that reading comments re: Sam Smith's pronouns was a bad idea, but of course took a look anyway. Their gender is not up for debate. It isn't for anyone else to decide for them. Sam's identity is valid and I stand with them, and all of my non-cis siblings.

I moved to Southampton 6 days ago and today is my first day by myself. I have applied for some jobs, found a painted rock and narrowly avoided being pooped on by a seagull.

I keep seeing people advocating for the ban of all single-use plastics. I have a geuine question:

how are we supposed to keep medical equipment & procedures sterile & safe? What is the proposed alternative to medical plastic waste? I have never seen this addressed ONCE.
