Saying goodbye is hard!

On August 12, 2025, I drove down to North Dakota to resume my first job as an Assistant Professor of Agriculture at Dickinson State University. DSU took a chance on me, and as you might tell, it has been a journey.

I (& my Major Advisor, Jeremy S Cowan) drove down with a U-Haul, my car hitched behind it, and a heart full of HOPE. DSU gave me an amazing boss- Dr. Poland, exceptional colleagues-Danielle, Jarri, Ms. Tracie…-, and outstanding students. We learned, grew, and built together.

I had the privilege of attending the annual conference of ASHS in Hawaii this past week. During the event, I presented my intercropped research. It was filled with incredible presentations while enjoying the beautiful Hawaiian weather.

Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to speak at the @EducationUSALag Predeparture Orientation for Fall '24 Nigerian students on the topics of "Safety on USA College Campuses" and "Leveraging Relationships."
