In explaining his decision to leave Ole Miss for LSU, Lane Kiffin seems willing to invoke Ole Miss's struggle to distance itself from symbols like the Confederate flag, Colonel Rebel, and the nickname "Ole Miss" itself.
When he was coaching there, Kiffin says, top recruits would tell him, “‘Hey, coach, we really like you. But my grandparents aren’t letting me move to Oxford, Mississippi.’ That doesn’t come up when you say Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Parents were sitting here this weekend saying the campus’s diversity feels so great: ‘It feels like there’s no segregation’” https://t.co/kNueefe5qK
You have to love an elderly man absolutely blowing a call in a key situation in a rubber game of a top 10 matchup in the SEC and taking the bat out of an all American’s hands. Absolutely what the people pay to see. @SEC great work as always with your officials

To everyone unhappy with the stream of Tuesday’s game in Biloxi: as far as I understand, ESPN provided a transmitter to have the feed aired online, but it was set to the wrong frequency. That’s why the game was visible but had technical issues. Not a problem on Biloxi’s end!
He has sent swarms of Officers to harass our people
He has kept among us Standing Armies without Consent of our legislatures
Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us
Protecting them from punishment for Murders which they commit on the Inhabitants
