@cloakhd That's exactly the point. DBD was originally made by an inexperienced team using blue prints as the foundation. The reason we have "spaghetti code" is due to this, so now Bhvr is remaking the game using the knowledge and experience they've acquired.
@AWildG00s3 It's the same power hierarchy as usual. Killer is stronger than solo queue/uncoordinated teams, but 4 man SWF priming buffet at 3 morsels constantly is stronger than killer. That's why both perspectives on what's stronger are true at once.
@GERMJIRA Imo it's not running decisive that's annoying, it's flaunting it in situations you can't do anything about. For example, unbreakable DS, or them blocking your chase with someone else. Used defensively is my risk to tunnel, used offensively is obnoxious as it defeats its purpose.
@OtzdarvaYT The gen kick limit is still too high in a 3 Gen scenario. I think there should be no Gen kick limit until 1 Gen remains, then the limit should be half of current (to 4) so it blocks quicker.
@Kyto_YT Not against it providing 2 things:
1. Radius/logic needs tweaking. Jason often gets punished without camping or tunnelling.
2. Weaker killers needs buffs to coincide e.g. Bubba's biggest strength is the 2 tap and securing a hook. Take that away and he's got nothing.
@dvveet Years ago I had a conversation with my friend that for Bhvr to fix the spaghetti code they'd need to rebuild the game without blueprints this time. I said it would take years and another team could do this on the side. I really hope that's this, imagine a DBD that's not broken...
@MikeyThePotato_ Can't edit damn it. I meant I never said you said it's op lol. If Bhvr do nerf him into being another niche killer, they can then enjoy going back to only seeing blight, nurse and co.
@MikeyThePotato_ I never said it's op, but that's the sentiment of the majority of people complaining. When killers have to face op metas they're forced to adapt (exhaustion counters etc) but survivors as per usual can't survive without crutches and throw a tantrum in hopes Bhvr nerf.
There's no better way to celebrate 10 years in The Fog than with a new record! 🥳🎉
Dead by Daylight has now surpassed its highest concurrent player count across all platforms, with over 250K players! Thank you for stepping into The Fog. We can't wait to continue the celebrations with the release of Shane Wiigwaas and our 10th Anniversary in-game Event on June 25th.
@bg3_4_dbd@dvveet It's all about how it's articulated. They framed it in a negative and whiny way, so that's the interpretation. If they did it like you just have there's no issue as can have proper discussion over concerns e.g. how will PS4 and pre gen handle this and will it be phased out.
@Grxffin_ Bhvr choose licences based on how main stream something is for the most part. I like pumpkin head and the film has a cult following but it's obscure. Stranger Things is modern yet they added Demo. It's not about age, it's about relevance, and Art is popular modern horror.
It may be our birthday, but what’s a birthday party without a loot bag?
Use the code DBD10BIRTHDAY before July 16 to enjoy 10 million Bloodpoints on us.
@HensDBD Both things can be true at once. I agree that you should take accountability for mistakes, but there's a difference between "playing well" and "playing perfectly" and I find the expectation is the latter. The game can be unbalanced and you can play badly, they're not exclusive.
