@ViewtySteph Hahaha ce tag me sort de mon hibernation de Twitter. Mais oui j'avais un projet à une époque d'essayer de voir si il était possible d'extraire les attrait "abstrait" des différent style de jeu pour les dissocié de leur thèmes.

Now that I have a PS5 I can finally start Bloodborne. Weirdly find it more confusing than Dark Souls, was stuck a good 10minutes in the hunter's dream after my first death

OK yeah fucking off twitter for a while. Can't cope with the world unraveling left and right while feeling so powerless about it all. Will go find some vetted place to support financially as the only real tangible thing I can do, and go into isolation mode. See you hopefully soon

Love the "they were spot on!" answers as I sit here, a entire generation whose phone is silenced all the time, never answer a call (cause 99% of the time it's spam anyway) & look in horror when my younger sister send vocal message. A phone should only be used to talk BY TEXT

@molecularmusing The thing is that, even with a disk, between the copy time to the internal drive + day 0 patch download, it end up sometime pretty close time wise...

As a dev I get it, as a player, I miss 32Mb game on flash memory 😅

@matthias_code @breakthesystem @CastIrony @uliwitness (and a small additional thing : level creation tool are a lot more complex now. Duke and similar had fairly simple 2D representation that was easy to "auto duplicate". Today scene have a lot more objects and hand place thing a lot harder to easily "auto duplicate")

@matthias_code @breakthesystem @CastIrony @uliwitness Also scene complexity didn't scale linearly with hardware power. A lot of tricks ("smoke & mirror" eh) have been invented to allow lots polygons on screen, increase complexity "only where you see" and duplicating a scene is more costly today even if corrected for hardware improv.

Taiko no Tatsujin is pretty fun, but I regret to not have the controller, it don't feel complete played with a keyboard.
