🔸It is a matter of serious regret that @CAF_Online takes the death of a Warriors fan more seriously than the Zimbabwean authorities. It is well documented that the fan died after a run in with a “public order vehicle”. Who was held accountable for his death? Was an investigation conducted? Was anyone arrested for culpable homicide? How can a fan go to a soccer match and come back dead? Why have heads not rolled?
His life matters.

🔸No. We want a Govt that doesn’t loot or give out millions to corrupt tenderpreneurs for over-priced projects that are never implemented. We want those millions to go into bona fide public services that benefit the masses. We want a nation that is competently, efficiently and resourcefully run. Do you understand now?
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
🔸Nobody hates him. We hate what he represents.
Holding people accountable is not a hate campaign. It’s every patriotic citizen’s duty.
And I didn’t start days ago. It’s been years.

🔸Let’s just be clear: mufi was a private citizen and not a national leader or figure. He did not occupy any public, state or official role whatsoever, not even that of a ward councillor. The line between national or state business and private business must always be clear.
It’s perfectly fine to mourn your beloved friend and show your sadness in a difficult moment for you and your loved ones. Most will respect your right to do so.
What you cannot do is rope the entire nation in as if we were part and parcel of the business he was engaged in. We were not. We cannot start to be now.

@edmnangagwa is able to visit Chivhayos family but he failed to visit the Karibas victims, almost 100 died and that time he was busy going to south Africa for holidays 🇿🇦😭😭
🔸People are spreading a false narrative that Wicknell was a bona fide businessman. He was not. He was a corrupt tenderpreneur and he believed that his conduct was normal.
Have you forgotten the time he went before a Parliamentary Committee and admitted that Intratek is a shelf company that takes advantage of the tender process to front international companies for profit?
This is why Wicknell’s Intratek doesn’t produce or sell anything. It has no visible employees. They never exhibit at trade shows and there’s no discernible footprint of his commercial activity. This is why he could not build the Gwanda solar farm that he was paid millions by Govt to deliver. They simply get tenders from Govt then pawn off those tenders to foreign companies that do the work. Wicknell then puts a multi-million dollar mark up, gets paid huge amounts from the public purse and that’s how he got “rich.”
These are the public funds that should be invested in basic public services like hospitals, schools and public infrastructure but are instead wasted on private jets, Rolls Royces and most recently “gifts” to silence influential artists, church leaders and other voices with a following.
So please don’t be surprised that the public are so opposed to what he represents.

🔸Don’t be obtuse. You think it’s normal for Govt to award a multi-million dollar tender to a shelf company with no traceable record of producing or delivering solar farms? Are you familiar with public procurement laws?
Can you not see the prejudice to the state with the price inflation and the risk of non-performance? You think it’s normal that he was paid millions before doing anything and that the solar farm has not been built to this day? Millions of US dollars were paid to him for doing nothing. What if that money had been spent on hospitals or schools?

🔸Moment of silence for how he got the multi-million dollar Gwanda Solar Project tender with zero qualifications and zero experience. These are not my allegations. These are his own admissions when he was brought before a parliamentary portfolio committee that was probing the award of a dodgy tender to him. It’s all a matter of public record.
His stock in trade was to befriend top politicians and presidents so that he could get Govt tenders, inflate the prices by the tens of millions and then grease the relevant palms. This would mean he was paid millions more in taxpayer funds than was due to him. He was an unnecessary middle man. These are all funds that should have been spent by the Govt on public services. The evidence of his selfies with and sycophantic of said political elites are all there online for everyone to see.
It was a mess.
