CONGRATULATIONS to the students at Sistema King Edward who also celebrated their last Family Night of the year! Vivavldi, Mozart and Beethoven Orchestras all showcased their beautiful performances!

This evening was in honor of the late Lydia Hedrich, who was a champion of the arts. She was a founding member of the Sistema Winnipeg program in Seven Oaks SD. "Over The Rainbow" was performed by the Beethoven Orch. Thank you for all you've done for the arts, Lydia.

It's been a busy week re-connecting with the students (both new and returning)! We've done instrument presentations, paper orchestra and introduced mentorship between the students at Elwick!

It's been a fun last few Sistema days since our winter concert, having a fun party watching movies, making music and crafts, and playing games!

Congrats to Winnipeg Youth Orchestras on their Fall Fantasia concert earlier this week!

Performances were done by all ensembles, including the Youth Strings group with 12 (!!!) Sistema musicians! Was great to see folks from the Sistema community come out and show support!
