Sunak "evenings in my family was spent talking about the NHS"
He was in bl**dy boarding school
Winchester
Which is like Eton B
He's an entitled, greedy man with "conflicts of interest" in every cell and pore

Losing what's apps anyone?

Very pleased to be here and able to post that thanks to #SouthmeadNHS I can confirm that neither my back or neck are broken. Brilliant A&E and huge thanks to #Duncan of Thornbury. It seems I am however, A Sausage. A battered one 🥴 #nhs#batteredbutunbowed#Phew
Emma Hardy, "I cannot believe that I am about to say this, but after 14 long years of Conservative rule. In 21st century Britain, our water is no longer safe to drink"
"This crisis is theirs.. They were the ones who weakened regulation leaving our Victorian era sewage system starved of investment. They turned a blind eye and let water companies illegally pump a tidal wave of raw sewage into our rivers lakes and seas"
@LawDiscoveries@Peston I'd like your view on how well the spend on digital on-line political canvassing is regulated. I understand they have to log costs for leaflets and old style media but Social Media campaigns aren't covered. I think the 2010 Election result pivoted on a FB campaign launch...
And while we're all having massive amounts of sewage dumped into our rivers and onto our beaches this weekend let me remind you that in 2022.
60% of sewage dumping was due to lack of investment.
18% due to lack of maintenance.
0% due to "exceptional circumstances".
A quick word for and about the haters (or pessimists) on both sides. As I've said here a couple of times, I am an Israeli Jew who believes that revenge is not a strategy, and that the only way forward is to work for freedom and dignity for all people. But in saying this, there are two groups of people who I can't ignore. First, those who believe that the massacres on Saturday were somehow "justified" by Israel's actions, and second, those who say that "you can never make peace with those people."
So a word for and about both. First, nothing, absolutely nothing, can justify the deliberate murder of children, old people, and civilians in general. You can't blame a child, anywhere in the world, for where she was born, and targeting children is *always* wrong. Always. No exceptions.
As for those who say, "how can you make peace with people who want to kill you?" a couple of things. First, you make peace with your enemies. That's why it's called making peace. Second, I have zero patience for the Islamophobes who put this on all Muslims, Arabs, or Palestinians, most of whom would never harm a child. And lastly, if Hamas is not interested, then let's talk to *anyone* who is. And no, we have not done that over the years.
Again, neither the Jews nor the Palestinians are going anywhere. We have to live together. So let's find a way. Anything else will lead to total catastrophe.
@BobGeor27574923 There are many private hospitals that operate (pun intended) as 'Not for Profit' organisations- the NHS SHOULD operate the same way, but the business structure comes down to who is responsible for the debts & how much liability they face, if the organisation makes a loss...

The NHS waiting lists are not the fault of NHS staff. They have been caused by this Conservative government. We must support NHS staff 🚨💙
