@Arcreonis@AestheticGamer1 I agree with you that it talks about trauma I agree with you that it talks about trauma & guilt, but those themes are conveyed by subtheme if you want, and a lot of the feminism theory can be found in there.
Stories are never just one thing.
@Arcreonis@AestheticGamer1 SH2 literally has monsters reflecting the objectification of the woman body. Angela’s storyline is all about trauma inflicted by men throughout her entire life, making her very wary around the masculine character.
@Arcreonis@AestheticGamer1 No one reasonable thinks there are any objectivity in storytelling, especially in games, whether from the creators, anybody from any dev team, or from the audience.
SH isn’t ONLY about feminism or gender, but it’s still one of the main thematic through any of the games.
@DennyVonDoom I’m reassured about the voice acting direction, they seemed to have kept the eeriness of it !
Then there are still the action scene that I’m being wary of, but I also get that they might wanna make it look more actiony in there marketing stuff.. Def better than the last trailer!
@JoshuaPHilll @ColumbiaSJP Always a good idea to throw National Guards at students protesting for peace, this never ended badly and never ended up with more innocent killed 🙄
Those protesters are seriously amazing, all the power to them ✊
Devs: We want to make interesting games but they aren’t being funded, half of my coworkers have been laid off, and execs only want IP driven live service titles
Journalists: Industry conditions are horrible and impacting game quality
Random Twitter account: the reason is woke
@jesawyer@tessakaur I think a lot about this, and I often think of James Gray, who’s been very vocal about the disappearance of mid-budget movies in Hollywood for the past 20 years.
@BahBahDuke@Octanexit Grosse vibe de:
