You are not very good at comprehension. They aren't going to sell any significant amount of consoles with Gears E-Day but they would of made a significant amount of money by releasing it on PS5. I definitely don't hate gaming lol, a whole room of my home is just for gaming and I have Xbox, PS, and a PC that I play games on. The reports say they are financially in trouble and they threw away a much easier way of making a profit. Convincing people to buy a Xbox for Gears is a much harder task and not very realistic. If it were a generational game like GTA6 being exclusive then they would have an advantage but that's not the case.
@CODPersonal Won't let all players in the lobby vote for map. Usually only 1 to 4 players are being allowed to vote. Happens every time I've played since season 4 update in HC playlist.
It can depending on how its received and how good it is. If the reception is positive it could easily be given stand alone status after a few months with guarantees of future content, but even though in a perfect world a free stand alone version of DMZ would be best i wouldn't recommend F2P because of the cheating situation in games atm. But what do they charge as stand alone becomes the question, I would say no less than $20 but no more than $30 imo.
that is your opinion and I disagree. Just Google issues with PvE only modes in extraction games. DMZ is being designed as a PvPvE game as stated by the devs in the deep dive video so by your own logic PvE players shouldn't really be interested in DMZ. So why add a PvE only mode to a PvPvE game that PvE players generally wouldn't want to play in the first place?
it fractures the player base which causes the player retention and player numbers to drop significantly. All the major games that have catered to a PvE only mode have experienced this recently, ARC Raiders, GreyZone Warfare, and Tarkov. Games designed as PvPvE shouldn't have PvE only mode but might be ok with a PvP only mode. If a game is designed as PvEvP the same applies and it might be ok with a PvE only mode. It all depends on the intended design priority of the game imo.
@Reave Apparently it was the spectator cam of the guy looting at the beginning, definitely wouldn't have been my first choice for a first reveal of the mode but that was their choice creatively. I guess its good to know there's a spectator mode when you die with a team?🤷♂️
