Big sports guy over here

Thoughts on Thunder/Nuggets:

- Not the defense I expected SGA to lose the 20 point game streak to
- JDub is so damn fun in transition, glad to see him healthy
- Trevon Brazile's athleticism is going to be huge as the backup PF for this Denver team
- I am moved by Alpha Diallo's defense so far
- Chet was an absolute monster on the offensive glass
- That Nuggets 2nd half offense was rough, Murray and Jokic combining for 6 points is crazy
- On the other hand that 2nd half defense from OKC shows why their the best
- Let's get a career high Aaron Gordon scoring season
- Feel like Cam Johnson has had horrible injury luck in Denver so far

[Matt @sixringsofsteeI]

Perfect plays back to back https://t.co/RyKqWLtSYi

[Matt @sixringsofsteeI]

That OKC sequence was absolutely electric holy shit

@NickJG216 I liked him defensively, but tbh I didn't realize the box score was that bad sheesh

Final thoughts on 76ers/Cavs:

- I really thought we we're seeing a much more aggressive Evan Mobley after that first half, nope.
- Donovan Mitchell gets way too quiet when it's clutch time I feel like
- Shame too because he was awesome all game long^^
- Thought it was a real solid debut for Peyton Watson
- Kenny Atkinson what are we doing...
- Jaylen Brown and Joel Embiid were nails in the 2nd half
- VJ Edgecombe just makes winning hustle plays
- Yea....Tyrese Maxey will be a consensus T10 player by the time the season is over

All in all, a super fun game, unless you are a Cavs fan.

@Honest_P_Fan I mean maybe something 3 years ago?

I had Scottie ranked well above Mobley in my rankings going into the year

[Matt @sixringsofsteeI]

The Cavs blow a 29 point lead, Donovan Mitchell & Evan Mobley combined for 2 points in the 4th quarter.

The 76ers stars showed up in the second half, especially Jaylen Brown and Joel Embiid. A loud 2-0 start for the 76ers.

[Matt @sixringsofsteeI]

@Honest_P_Fan In what?

[Matt @sixringsofsteeI]

Just like that the 76ers have beaten both of the 2026 East Finals teams to start off the season

[Matt @sixringsofsteeI]

Evan Mobley in the 1st half: 15 Points and 6 Rebounds

Evan Mobley finished with: 18 Points and 8 Rebounds

Same old story.

[Matt @sixringsofsteeI]

@KotalloHFW this is why we don't jump to conclusions my guy

[Matt @sixringsofsteeI]

Kinda speechless on how bad the 76ers look in the first half, Cavs destroying them in every aspect of the game right now

[Matt @sixringsofsteeI]

@BryEldridgeLuvr 100%. Literally dominating at the rim/line in the 2nd half. Brown and Embiid taking over

[Matt @sixringsofsteeI]

What an embarrassing 2nd half for the Cavs, literally how their season ended last year is how it's starting this year

[Matt @sixringsofsteeI]

Kenny Atkinson is on the Mount Rushmore of coaches I never feel safe with any lead

[Matt @sixringsofsteeI]

@TheMobleyMob would be so awesome if so

[Matt @sixringsofsteeI]

@sammckee451 @EnjoyBBall ok https://t.co/SBcnBtFcnD

[Matt @sixringsofsteeI]

@yoa1fredo He looked back to the paolo I expected last year tn

[Matt @sixringsofsteeI]

Thoughts on last nights NBA games @EnjoyBBall:

- Ant & LaMelo is the most entertaining duo hands down
- Giannis' debut was a 10/10, everything else though...
- Wizards fans really do deserve a competitive team like this
- How can you not get emotional watching Tyrese Haliburton back out there
- Kevin Durant really is aging like fine wine
- I'm regretting not having more Ty Jerome MIP stock
- Thought Burries & Wagler were the two best rookies by far
- I think Walker Kessler is going to enjoy playing w/ Luka
- Fire that Phoenix performance into the Sun
- Hang that Portland performance in the louvre
- This Raptors defense is going to be a problem all year
