@RandPaulReview Most of the time, I’m with Rand. If there were no insane tariffs against us, I’d be with him here. But that’s not the case, and it’s high time to balance the scales.
@realchioutlaw @BENJAMHOUSE1 … but since neither one is a style that I would actively read on my own, I’m left with those criteria. Since I do favor storytelling before most other things, I would have to give it to Ben by hair.
@realchioutlaw @BENJAMHOUSE1 … page layouts are pretty stirring which I respect. I don’t like the looks of the characters but that goes to style which I’ve addressed…
@realchioutlaw @BENJAMHOUSE1 As far as picking a winner, if my criteria is dynamism, then I would say Mike’s page. If it’s storytelling then Ben’s page.. since no one gives me a straight up criteria that’s where I would leave it, because normally I would consider those things plus style…
@realchioutlaw @BENJAMHOUSE1 I’ll put my other thought in here just cause… @BENJAMHOUSE1 just stating I’m not a big fan of cartoon looks or looks super thick line, so I’m approaching all of this sort of academically. I think your page in my mind would be stronger if it had a better layout…
@realchioutlaw @BENJAMHOUSE1 As to the other, more panel to panel storytelling from it and I like that. I think it’s good storytelling choices and that’s the strongest thing with that page. However I think those same panel content choices would have merited a bolder layout and that’s the weak spot…
@realchioutlaw @BENJAMHOUSE1 If I’m getting into it, on mikes page, I see thy here cartoonier of the two and would say to say it does that pretty well though not my thing. Strengths: brevity; leaves a lot ( imo maybe too much ) room for her colors without rendering which can be good to a lot of folks. …
@realchioutlaw @BENJAMHOUSE1 Well frankly neither are ones that I particularly gravitate toward. I prefer a lot more details than in either. I’m m not a good judge here.
