@AzureEyedGhoul@Acyn@grok What context would make that sound any better? Iโm trying to think of something. Anything. Ive got nothing. Sometimes evil people say the quiet part out loud.
@MissedtheFence@angryseattle It's not "soft" to want well-designed conditions for traveling. Wanting to be able to see where you're supposed to drive when the speeds are 60+ mph should be normal. Not wanting to die because you needed to drive somewhere isn't being "soft". What a weird comment.
@NHLandMLB_Fan@angryseattle I wonder if the responsibility for not being hit by a car should be on people just walking or more on us all to make it safer for people to walk? Should we have to dress up like Christmas trees to walk without being hit? Maybe we need better lighting instead?
@Kp12984@komonews Came here to mention the light rail as well. Super easy to get from Northgate to Downtown Seattle, and accidents on the road won't bother you at all. :)
@MuffintheRose @AnnaZivarts I heard a rumor that sometimes people can't drive, for any number of reasons. Maybe that's why they walk and use busses and trains...?
@AnnaZivarts I'm sorry you're still dealing with this issue. It feels like our public school system is falling apart, but I think you have a great point that the problem has to do with the cost of living; that's an interesting connection. Thank you for pointing that out.
@ChilesJordan you're an amazing person, through and through, no matter how the scoring turned out for floor, or whatever nasty things some people might say to you or about you.
@J3R_BAK3R @Hacksaw_9xx @sentdefender Authorities quickly blocked traffic onto the bridge because of the Mayday from the ship because they had lost power.
There was a crew of construction workers refilling potholes, though. :(
@JosephP58766552@AtacamTransit@komonews You can check out the DSM-5 from your local library if you like, and then read all about it. Hint: not being heterosexual is not something that is in the DSM-5.
@tacolocomotive@AtacamTransit@komonews I think we found part of the problem. If someone isn't willing to read a couple of sentences, how much are they willing to learn or think about anything?
@TerrieCarleton@komonews Enrollment has been down because Washington is going to teach this? I think you might have the concept of cause and effect slightly confused here...
Enrollment might go down more as a result, but it hasn't been going down because the governor just signed this into law.
@HunterY53516297@CdpLesbian@komonews Maybe it's only strange to us because we aren't used to it being done that way, but there are a lot of things that we used to think were strange and "unnecessary" that are now considered normal, and we wouldn't dream of going back to the way it was before.
@MikeLindblom@SoundTransit@UrbanistOrg That's a good way to present that information. If I ever needed to get between the two lines, I would find that chart to be really helpful.
