In April 1945 American forces seized the German V-2 engine test stands at the Lehesten slate quarry in Thuringia and restarted static firings of the captured motors on the existing benches. They measured thrust output, combustion stability, and overall reliability under controlled conditions. The tests also let ordnance teams document the hardware and procedures before the site passed into Soviet hands later that summer.

From the Mittelwerk plant the United States shipped out components sufficient for about 100 complete rockets, later assembling and launching 67 of them at White Sands.

Britain received the remaining parts after the American haul and assembled eight rockets for its own tests, while Soviet forces took what was left in their zone and assembled roughly 30 for launches at Kapustin Yar.

This experimental morphing wing, developed by researchers at the National University of Singapore, uses Macro Fiber Composite (MFC) piezoelectric actuators integrated beneath its composite skin.

The actuators modify the wing's camber, allowing the airfoil to adopt different aerodynamic profiles without conventional hinged flaps.

Instead of deflecting a discrete control surface, the wing itself changes shape while maintaining a continuous aerodynamic surface.

The research combines smart materials, composite structures, and aeroelastic design to investigate adaptive wing technologies for future aircraft.

La Independencia del Ecuador se inició el 9 de Octubre de 1820 en Guayaquil y culminó el 24 de Mayo de 1822 en el majestuoso escenario de la gloria guayaquileña.

En 1809 Quito no quería independencia sino proclamó sumisión a la monarquía porque pretendía ser Capitanía.

Guayaquil venció a Quito en la Batalla del Pichincha bajo liderazgo de Olmedo y en la
Batalla de Miñarica bajo liderazgo de Rocafuerte donde el ejército quiteño fue aniquilado con más de 600 muertos quiteños, 20 jefes y 66 oficiales prisioneros.

El Departamento del Sur no se llamó Quito, ya que había sido liberado por Guayaquil, Bolívar escogió Quito como capital de Departamento para subordinar Guayaquil por temor a Rocafuerte que terminó fundando la República del Ecuador en 1835 en Ambato.
