Skeleton Coast Uranium $SKEL has designed a multi-phase #explorationprogram for 2026 going into 2027 focusing on the 3 Project Areas 8617, 8208 & 9727.
Phase I of the 2026 #Exploration Program is focused on compilation, digitization and analysis of all #airborne survey data flown by the Namibian Government over the EPL’s, together with all other historical exploration reports and data on the project area on file in the archives with the Namibian Ministry of Mines and Energy.
Additionally, Skeleton Coast Uranium is reprocessing historical #airbornemagnetics and #electromagnetic surveys.
Analysis of all resulting datasets are expected to be used in targeting and planning airborne and ground geophysics, field mapping, and surface sampling.

The #ErongoRegion is the global powerhouse of Namibia's #uraniumindustry, securing the nation’s position as the world’s 3rd largest uranium producer after #Kazakhstan and #Canada. The area is home to three massive, #openpit#uraniummines: #Rössing, #Husab, and #LangerHeinrich.
The #LangerHeinrichMine is operated by #PaladinEnergy, which holds a 75% ownership stake in the project. The remaining 25% is owned by #CNNCOverseasUraniumHolding, a subsidiary of the #ChinaNationalNuclearCorporation #CNNC.
In 2025, the #LangerHeinrich Mine produced 4.036 Mil lbs #U3O8, making it the 3rdlargest #uraniummine in Namibia. By comparison, the #UnitedStates #U.S. produced ~2.11 Mil lbs U3O8 in 2025. Langer Heinrich produced 90% more uranium than total #U.S. production in 2025.
Paladin Energy upgraded its FY2026 uranium production guidance for the Langer Heinrich Mine to 4.5 to 4.8 Mil lbs of U₃O₈. This positions the mine to supply roughly 4% of total global #uraniumproduction. Furthermore, by the end of 2026, early 2027, Langer Heinrich is expected to ramp-up production to nameplate capacity of 6 Mil lbs per year.
Skeleton Coast Uranium’s EPL 8208 covers ~7,840.7 ha and shares ~15 km of border (N-NW) with the #LangerHeinrichMine. #LangerHeinrich is a calcrete-hosted secondary uranium deposit which extends over a 15 km length. Mineralization is near-surface, between one and 30 m thick, and between 50 m and 1,100 m wide.

Skeleton Coast Uranium’s exclusive prospecting licence (EPL) 8208 is a near-mine surficial #uranium target with palaeochannel and calcrete architecture immediately adjacent to the operating #LangerHeinrich Mine, in the #ErongoRegion of #Namibia.
The Langer Heinrich Mine (ML 140 and ML 172), one of the most significant calcrete-hosted #uraniumdeposits globally, hosts 84.8 million tonnes of ore reserves at an average grade of 448 ppm ; JORC and NI 43-101).
Skeleton Coast Uranium’s EPL 8208 occupies 7,840.7 hectares and shares approx. 15 km of border (N-NW) with the #LangerHeinrichMine.
Uranium at the Langer Heinrich deposit occurs as #carnotite, an oxide mineral containing both uranium and #vanadium. The #deposit extends over a 15 km length. #Mineralization is near-surface, between one and 30 m thick, and between 50 m and 1,100 m wide depending on the width of the palaeo valley.

The Critical Role of Uranium Exploration - Skeleton Coast Uranium has option agreements to acquire controlling interests in five uranium exploration licences (EPLs) totalling 610 km2 in the Erongo Region of Namibia which produces ~10% of the world's mined uranium output and is a major supplier to global power utilities.

EPL 8208, 9727 and 8617 are strategically located in the #ErongoRegion, adjacent to or within 10 to 25 km of one of Namibia’s 3 #uraniummines - #Rössing, #Husab, #LangerHeinrich, which produce approximately 10% of global #uranium output.
Each project offers dual prospectivity for primary leucogranite-associated #uraniummineralisation analogous to the Rössing and Husab deposits, and secondary calcrete-hosted palaeochannel uranium mineralisation analogous to the Langer Heinrich deposit.

According to the #WorldNuclearAssociation@WorldNuclear there are 439 #nuclearreactors operating in over 30 countries, delivering 402 GW of capacity.
A record-high 80 reactors are currently under #construction, adding another 88 GW, and 120 reactors are planned or approved for construction, representing another 108 GW. And, 318 additional reactors are proposed, with a potential 291 GW of future capacity.
With #electricitydemand increasing about 2x as fast as overall energy use and expected to rise by more than 50% between 2022 and 2040, the world will need significantly increased #energysupply in the future, especially cleanly-generated #electricity such a #nuclearpower.

Skeleton Coast Uranium - A tale of two uranium models: EPL 9727 and EPL 8208. Being close to three of the world's major #uraniummines matters, but EPLs 9727 and 8208 give us something else as well: they give us two different opportunities to find #uranium.
In #Namibia's central #ErongoRegion, uranium is found in two main geological settings. At #Husab and #Rössing, it occurs as a primary mineral in granitic rocks known as #alaskite.
At #LangerHeinrich, the #uraniummineralization is secondary, as it has been remobilized by meteoric water and deposited in the sediments of ancient river channels.
For those who are not geologists, the distinction changes what we look for and how we look for it.
Two of @SkeletonCoastu licences, EPL 9727 and 8208, give us reason to investigate both of those geological stories. And this matters because it means we are not relying on one #exploration concept:
· EPL 9727 gives us the opportunity to investigate uranium in both the underlying rock and ancient river channels
· EPL 8208 provides a more focused test of the channel-hosted model seen at neighbouring #LangerHeinrich

Global #nuclearutilities face a cumulative uncovered uranium requirement of over 1.9 billion pounds heading into 2040. This shortfall is driven by expanding #nuclearreactor lifespans, new builds (including #AI-driven #datacenter demand), and ongoing Western import bans on #Russian supplies.
Global primary mine production currently falls well short of expanding #nuclearreactor requirements. The #uraniummarket is suffering from an ongoing structural deficit exacerbated by long project lead times and a decade of underinvestment.

China’s major uranium companies have invested more than US$2.6 Bil across 3 of Namibia’s operating #uranium mines and one advanced development project.
Beginning in 2012, with the~US$2 billion #acquisition and development of the #HusabMine by #ChinaGeneralNuclearPowerGroup#CGN $1816.HK, with #Husab becoming one of the largest #uranium operations in the world.
In 2019, a subsidiary of #ChinaNationalNuclearCorporation #CNNC $601985 acquired @RioTinto’s $RIO 68.62% stake in the #RössingUraniumMine for up to US$106.5 million. Rössing commenced uranium production in 1976 and has been a key part of Namibia’s mining industry for 50 years.
In 2014, #CNNC acquired a 25% stake in Langer Heinrich Namibia’s 3rd operating uranium mine, from @PaladinEnergy $PDN for ~US$190 Mil.
In early 2026, Bannerman Energy $BMN announced a strategic partnership with #CNNC $601985 whereby CNNC will #invest up to US$321.5 Mil to hold 45% operating interest to fund and develop the #Etango uranium project near Swakopmund.
In 2024, Namibia exported ~US$803.24 Mil of uranium ores and concentrates to #China.
