@PT003__ When shares are minted based on direct cash purchases, the fund manager receives the cash and goes to the open market to acquire the skins, thus increasing the price of said skins.
@LPC006 The fund manager decides if only he can deposit skins to the index or not. Also, the fund manager decides which skins are accepted into the index.
The fund manager can control everything from fees to items to liquidty
@Extr3mePower When you skins are converted to shares, you can earn passive yield on their capital value. Also, Skindex spends it's fee's on buying back shares and burn them. Reducing supply, but keeping the same amount of value in the index.

Community indexes are inherently more risky, as they can become insolvent if the Fund manager does not purchase skins and deposit them based on the direct share cash sale. It's a rather complicated process, but we will make more educational content on this.

Our pricing sources provide 7d averages. When you combine that with weighted active buy order prices, you will get a very accurate pricing system, which is hard to manipulate.
