American women can only stay with their babies for 6 weeks before they must return to work. This policy was lobbied by Nestle so that American women are forced to buy formula and don't rely on their own breast milk to feed their babies. The American government works for corporations, not their people & until this system dismantles, people aren't going to have babies. This is just common sense.
Trump was literally asked at the White House ON CAMERA if he was concerned about allegations that he was using the war to manipulate the stock market for personal gain.
He didn't react with shock.
Or anger.
He didn't respond by saying he would never do such a horrible thing.
He laughed, looked directly into the camera and said, "the whole world is a casino."
People are dying and he simply doesn't care as long as it lines his pockets.
The National Park Service ran on a $3 billion budget and generated $56 billion in economic output in 2024. That’s over $17 back for every $1 invested.
With a record of 332 million visitors last year, Americans clearly care about their parks and expect them to be funded.
Just 20 minutes before Trump announced the Strait of Hormuz was open—Someone dumped 7,990 lots of Brent crude futures.
A $760 million bet that oil prices would drop.
Orders far larger than anything else in the market at that moment.
They made a fortune.
But somebody knew the announcement was coming.
This is insider trading at the highest level of government.
This is the part that keeps getting buried under the raw numbers.
Hegseth spent months pressuring Army Secretary Dan Driscoll to remove four decorated colonels from the one-star promotion list. Two Black men. Two women. Driscoll refused, because their records demanded it. So Hegseth pulled their names himself… which legal experts say he likely had no authority to do. The defense secretary is supposed to approve or reject the entire list, precisely to prevent this kind of targeted discrimination.
Then Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George - the Army’s top officer - asked to meet with Hegseth to discuss the blocked promotions. Hegseth refused to meet. Refused to discuss his decisions at all.
Then he fired George. Whose term wasn’t supposed to end until September 2027.
Nine U.S. officials across all four branches confirmed the NBC reporting. “There is not a single service that has been immune,” one said. The officers’ attributes being cited for removal include past support for Covid vaccine mandates… and association with Mark Milley.
The Pentagon’s response to every outlet that asked: “fake news.”
They didn’t dispute a single name.
The IDs needed to do these things would not be accepted forms of ID under the SAVE America Act.
They’re lying to you so you won’t realize that it’s a voter suppression bill, not a voter ID bill.
I am tired of people thinking government agencies need to be run like a business. This will also kill many elderly and disabled people bc the USPS can deliver prescriptions to rural areas where delivery companies won’t go
The Supreme Court just told Americans that even if a postal worker deliberately refuses to deliver your mail, you cannot sue the Postal Service for it. That is not a glitch. It is now the law.
Think about what lives in that mailbox: veterans’ benefits, medications, rent checks, court notices. In the Konan case, tenants missed bills and prescriptions because mail was intentionally withheld, and the Court still said sovereign immunity shuts the courthouse door.
This is not narrow procedure. It is a choice to put a core public service above the accountability every small business faces when it fails its customers.
A confident republic does not tell citizens, “Yes, they wronged you on purpose, and no, you have no recourse.” It keeps its institutions answerable to the people they exist to serve.
This Anthropic and Pentagon standoff is not getting enough attention. Anthropic is prepared to walk away from a $200M contract because they’re concerned about how the Pentagon wants to use their tech for autonomous weapons and mass surveillance. We are at a dangerous intersection
FYI: Trump is running the most expensive vanity project in American history, and you're paying for it. Here's what he's slapped his name on so far:
❌ The Kennedy Center
❌ The U.S. Institute of Peace
❌ TrumpRx (prescription drug program)
❌ Trump Accounts for newborns
❌ 2026 National Park Passes
❌ Giant banners with his face plastered on the Departments of Agriculture, Labor, and Justice
❌ The “Trump Gold Card”
❌ “Trump-class” battleships
❌ Federal relief checks
The latest? The Trump Organization trademarked “Trump” for airports—after he reportedly tried to leverage $16 billion in infrastructure funding to get Penn Station and Dulles renamed after himself.
This is blatant narcissism, and it’s pathetic. Seriously, when does it end?
my niece was assaulted by a coworker at a company offsite.
not a misunderstanding. not “mixed signals.” she told him no. more than once. he cornered her anyway. she left early, shaking, and reported it the very next morning.
HR thanked her for “coming forward.” said they would handle it discreetly.
a week later she was placed on “temporary leave during the investigation.” paid at first. then unpaid. they said it was to “protect team morale.”
he stayed. kept his badge. kept his projects. kept laughing in meetings.
people started whispering that she must have “misread the situation.” leadership said there was “insufficient evidence.” her word against his.
when she asked to return, they told her her role had already been filled because the team “needed stability.”
she lost her job. her income. her health insurance.
he got to keep his.
and they still posted about supporting survivors.
America has spent literally every second of this presidency letting us know immigrants and first generations are not American and can be removed at their whim and want to complain about people moving accordingly.
If you are worried about the rise of AI - taking your job, sucking up all the energy / water, bombarding your kids with online slop, amplifying 'the machine', destroying humanity... - probably the most tangible thing you can do is to resist data centers coming into your community
Throwback to Pam Bondi’s campaign ad for Florida AG
“I’ll fight to put human trafficking monsters where they belong. Behind bars.”
The ad aged. The internet remembers.
This happened four days before the inauguration. That part matters.
He wasn’t president yet.
So this can’t be waved away as an “official act.”
No immunity dodge. No presidential cover.
Just a private citizen taking foreign money right before the policy payoff.
That’s not governance.
That’s a bribe.
Remember when planes were crashing and Sean Duffy tried to blame it on DEI....
And then Elon and the DOGE bros broke our government, stole data, and got rid of USAID resulting in the deaths of 600,000 impoverished humans...
And then Pete Hegseth disclosed military strikes in an unsecure Signal chat and started blowing up boats at sea...
And then Tulsi Gabbard held a press conference trying to implicate Obama in fake crimes and said he would be arrested...
And then Pam Bondi covered up the Epstein files, gave Ghislaine Maxwell special privileges, and started "prosecuting" all of Trump's enemies at his request via tweet...
And then Kristi Noem's armed, masked ICE agents shot and killed two innocent Americans in the street.
That escalated quickly.
They nuke Harvard's funding, which everybody told them was going to lead to Chinese research dominance. China is now dominating and instead of reconsidering their terrible science policies, they're blaming it all on minorities.
These people are insane.
