You have to dissolve something like sodium hydroxide in the water to get hydrogen gas. A dangerous reaction that gives off lots of heat as well.

No serious government releases the confidential text of a negotiation that did not result in an agreement.

Why? Because negotiations involve offers, counteroffers, conditional concessions and red lines. None of those constitute an agreement or a deal.

Publishing them after talks fail would simply reveal your negotiating strategy, your bottom line and your vulnerabilities to the other side.

You can demand accountability for why negotiations failed.

But you don’t hand the other side your playbook for the next round.

It’s called negotiating against yourself.
