Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸
@BoiseDon@ChicoSharking@TalkinYanks That says more about the AL than about him. Take a look after his one “above average” year. Defending slightly above average is sad
@BoiseDon@ChicoSharking@TalkinYanks I believe being slightly above average is not even close to worthy of the gold glove. WAR is a terrible stat because it relies on a hypothetical and mythical where the stat believes a player should be at a given point rather than what takes place on the field
@BoiseDon@ChicoSharking@TalkinYanks Are you pulling out one article that said he’s one out above average and think that means he’s good? I can use my eyes as I watch him boot balls, short arm the throw to first, and drop the ball on transfer for double plays. WAR is the worst, most unreal stat in baseball by the way
@MLBTheShow Has Co-Op been fixed? Us 8-5’s with kids who only get a few hours want to play and not take a loss or wait for our opponent to leave the game to win
@MLBTheShow Can you finally fix the co-op glitch where it’s a stand off until someone quits? It’s actually ridiculous that it’s been an issue for 3 years and it’s STILL not resolved.
@JT_V94 @dapper_toot@GuntherEagleman I’d prefer no fighting at all. However, for peace there must be strength.
You mention a weak Jewish nation…yet anytime they are attacked they somehow win 🤷🏼♂️. Looks like you’re wrong on both accounts.
@dapper_toot@GuntherEagleman Hmmmm taking out leaders that chant death to America? How do you think that benefits American’s? Shouldn’t be that hard to figure out
WATCH: ICE EAD Marcos Charles exposes the activists' lies and media smears surrounding the case of the 5-year-old boy.
ICE encountered the boy's father, a criminal illegal alien from Ecuador, who fled from our officers and left his young son behind in the freezing cold, ABANDONING him. The boy's family even refused to take him into their house. Our officers ensured the boy's safety regardless.
What the media won't tell you is that after ICE detained the father, our officers spent time with the young boy — even taking him through a drive-through for some food — before reuniting him with his father.
The smears against our officers and this agency are relentless and continue to put our personnel at greater risk of attack. It must end.
🚨 JUST IN: ICE Assistant Director says his men spent HOURS comforting that 5-year-old child the Fake News keeps lying was "detained"
"My officers did that - NOT his father." https://t.co/gI6s5GIzuF
"My officers stayed with the child. They cared for him. Took him to get something to eat from a drive-thru restaurant and spent hours ensuring he was taken care of. Again, my officers did that, not his father ... his family refused to open the door and take him back."
The fake news LIED. AGAIN.
