Chuuya‼️ Dazai plans all these genius stuff for missions but he can never beat Chuuya when it comes to dates. And tbh, it's not even the grandest dates that Dazai loves, Dazai's favorites are Chuuya's silly, imperfect ones. 😌💘

Dazai bought a ring when they were 18, though at that time he still hasn't realized his feelings for Chuuya. All he knows is that he's always wanted to see this on Chuuya's ring finger, someday, maybe when the timing and circumstances finally feel right.
He gave it 5 yrs after.

They both don't say it often, but if we're actually gonna count it, it's Dazai.
Chuuya says "I hate you" too often though it usually means the opposite 😩😌🤭

Chuuya was not very good at hiding his feelings but he never ever wanted to admit it to himself and worse, to Dazai. And even when he came to terms with his feelings, he wasn't sure if Dazai would want a commitment so he shut up.
Dazai knew how Chuuya thought so he took the risk.
