In 1991 Serbia wanted to destroy Croatia and create a greater Serbian state with the western border on the line Karlobag-Karlovac-Virovitica.

Croats were ethnically cleansed, our cities and churches were bombed.

1995 came the payback 🇭🇷

On this day in 1995, the Croatian army captured the capital of the Serbian parastate - called Knin. 🇭🇷⚡️🌪️

It was the final nail in the coffin of the Serbian parastate called the Republic of Serbian Krajina and its final destruction and cessation of existence.

Croatia today marks Victory Day in memory of the victory in the Homeland War.

🇭🇷 500 000 Croats attending a concert by the nationalist hard rock musician Thompson in Zagreb yesterday.

Before the concert, he sent a message to the audience and all Europeans:

“I want to express my deep gratitude to all of you who came and who cherish the unity and values that we Croats hold dear – God, family, and homeland.

That is why I want to send a message to all of Europe:

Return to your Christian roots, for only then can you be strong.

Tonight, through our songs, we will revisit various themes from our past, because it is from the past that we learn.

We must be proud of it and honor the heroes who built it.”
