Are Africans inherently wired to celebrate negativity? A 20km bad road gets celebrated more than 100km of good road. A marriage that has been successful for 30 years doesn't get as much celebration as the one that collapses after 2 years. Funerals get more contributions and attendance than hospital bills. An entrepreneur starting a business doesn't get half the applause of a company closing down operations. A person whose health insurance worked is trashed while the one whose health insurance failed is the hero.
