I've said before how lucky @Claynosaurz are to have @jervibore
He pours so much into this project you can really feel it.
Not to mention the insane amount of talent he has from illustrating down to the storytelling and building out these characters. A true master of his craft 🤌🤌🤌
Late night, squeezing in time to help out the gang with episode anim tests. I haven't animated for 3 years, since I took on BD, creative management and a million other things on the clayno side. Feels weird to be in the software again, maybe a bit therapeutic. Bird animation sorta used to be my thing. And raptors
Fun lore, the last thing I animated was the Dactyl collectibles and Kevin the Sky Chicken.
The hardest thing is resisting gravity.
Every meaningful thing we've built has had one thing in common: it would have been much easier to do it the normal way.
Claynosaurz started as a way to challenge the status quo. We exist because creators were fucked. We unfuck creators. We broke free, and we are going to be breaking other artists free and giving fans and creators what they deserve. At the start, we had no way of making our own future. It was founded because there wasn't another option. We built that future with you. We are building it with you.
We refuse to accept "that's just how it's done" as a sufficient reason to be seduced by the gravitational pull of “normal.”
Yes, it would feel safer, more polished, more conventional, easier to explain, easier to categorize. Every decision feels risky because you're creating the practices everyone else will later copy.
But we are not normal. None of what we do is normal.
When original ideas looks unreasonable before they look inevitable, they’re judged in hindsight. You’re breaking barriers. Some even get upset. No one says “that’s genius.” Usually the response is “why would you ever do that?”
And being original means living without a map. If everyone immediately understands what we're building, we’d probably be operating inside existing categories. We don’t optimize for immediate acceptance versus long-term impact. That is the promise.
Existing incentive structures no longer serve creators or audiences particularly well. Creative businesses become stronger when creators and fans have more agency. We are willing to keep making decisions that align with the philosophy, even when they're operationally harder.
We’re rebels. That doesn’t mean we’re crazy or reckless. It means we’re willing to absorb short-term discomfort because we believe in long-term principles.
It's the discipline to keep choosing conviction over convention, even when convention would be easier. That's the price of building something that doesn't have a blueprint yet.
Now hold my beer and pour some out for the troublemakers. Welcome to the party.
There’s no wrong choice when picking a Tribe as each brings something unique to Claynotopia. The important thing is to join one and get involved🌋

Plenty of community members added in Wing It! How many did you spot?
@0xd_eth's ancient, @MissLadyLee's dactyl, @JurassicLeonard's dactyl, @Decay235's dodo and the baby dactyl was based off @ISHONEI markings and colouring.
You may have also noticed a few Easter eggs scattered across the box Flea is preparing to launch himself from.
