Donald Trump disgraced America today. He disgraced valor. He has sided with invaders, the killers and the rapists of Russia.
Trump is a weak coward who got 5 deferments from Vietnam and who loves and worships Russia and Putin imo and is not loyal to USA.
Amid all this madness, I want to thank our British partners for a characteristically British response: calm, cool, and collected.
The UK stands with Ukraine. It will continue to do so. No easing of sanctions on russia - and a clear call for others to hold the line.
Thank you for showing what principled leadership looks like. 🇺🇦🇬🇧
President Trump’s decision to lift sanctions on Russian fuel amidst Putin’s ongoing and brutal attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine makes no sense and is a betrayal of the legacy and leadership of the late Senator Lindsey Graham.
While Ukraine fights for its survival, Putin’s war machine continues to prosecute his terrorist war on civilian populations and innocent Ukrainians are dying every day.
Now, Instead of implementing the tough sanctions Lindsey Graham fought to his last breath to enact, President Trump has announced the United States is lifting sanctions on Russian energy, fueling the Putin’s war machine.
As I saw firsthand in Ukraine last month, Putin is losing this war. Ukraine has fought the Russian military to a standstill and reinvented warfare with drones taking the fight into the heart of Russia.
America should not be throwing a lifeline to Putin’s war machine. Now is the time to stand strong against Russian aggression as we did during the first Trump administration.
Putin doesn’t want peace. Putin wants Ukraine. I have no doubt that if Putin overruns Ukraine, it will only be a matter of time until Russia’s military crosses a border that our troops will have to deal with him.
America is the Leader of the Free World. For our National Security, for the security of our Allies in Europe including Ukraine, President Trump should rescind this deal immediately and return to the strong policies of our four years in the White House; impose harsh sanctions on any nation purchasing Russian energy and work with our allies to ensure Ukraine has the military support it needs to repel and defeat this Russian invasion once and for all. Slava Ukraini🇺🇸🇺🇦
It is sickening that the USA is now lifting sanctions on Russian fuel, and transparently ridiculous to blame Ukraine for the spike in prices that obviously began with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Putin is murdering innocent Ukrainian civilians every day. The Ukrainians are fighting for their lives. And yet the White House is apparently determined to force American drivers to bankroll Putin’s slaughter. It won’t work and I doubt it will make much difference to the price of fuel.
If we want Russian oil and gas back on the world market then let’s end this war - with a free, sovereign and independent Ukraine.
What allowing Russia to sell oil products means was heard most clearly in Kyiv just now, when, after repeated attacks on energy facilities with jet-powered “shaheds,” Russia launched a ballistic missile attack as well. Some of the missiles were intercepted. This once again clearly demonstrates Russia’s true intentions. They count on prolonging the war, terrorizing ordinary people, and destroying infrastructure.
Every additional billion dollars they can earn from exports will be spent on nothing but sourcing and importing critical components and equipment to manufacture weapons, upgrading “shaheds,” producing missiles, and recruiting even more mercenaries to fight at the front. Russia’s choice is war. And they will be ready to end it only when they feel that their ability to drag the war out is diminishing.
Unfortunately, the signals Russia received yesterday were entirely different – signals suggesting that it could simply keep attacking. And this needs to be corrected. Strong signals are needed from the United States, Europe, and other partners – signals in support of Ukraine and to RESTRICT Russia’s ability to wage war and terrorize people. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine!
The former U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine & Russia @generalkellogg tells @FoxBusiness’ @JackieDeAngelis that Vladimir Putin isn’t giving diesel to Americans out of the goodness of his heart. Says it’s an attempt to reduce pressure on him. Adds Kyiv should continue striking legitimate military targets within Russia. “It’s a war, they are attacking correctly.”
So -- we Ukrainians are supposed to just unilaterally halt our successful campaign of strikes against the oil industry of an aggressor power that is waging a war to destroy our country, give it time to rebuild that industry and resume raking in oil money hand over fist to fund its war, simply give up our only real hope and our only means of forcing the aggressor to stop, and just sit there and silently die under Russian bombs falling on our kindergartens and heating plants -- for NOTHING.
All because one senile, Putin-obsessed petty tyrant decided to stage yet another stupid election-season clown show for the TV cameras?
Yeah, not going to happen.
@RepDonBacon Respectfully you're as weak AF
You should be holding the maniac accountable but you're all paralysed with fear
Shame on you all for enabling the lunatic
@RealAlexJones I urge Ukraine to keep on bombing Russian oil refineries
This isn't a good deal ffs
