Take time to get to know your followers outside of the stream. Talking to people and becoming friends will result in people wanting to come back and watch you

Make sure you put some time and thought into your graphics. Both for your overlay and in your twitch panels. You would be surprised at the difference it makes!

In terms of streaming "mainstream" stuff, its entirely up to you. I always say play what you enjoy. See what your audience responds too and go from there.

@TheBakedPotat10 The biggest advice I can give is have fun! Dont expect too much straight away. Growing takes time, so dont be disheartened if it takes ages. Consistency is key also :)
