@ZduhaimeWeather Loud thunder, lightning, very heavy rain, and briefly gusty winds just came through Newtown. Very impressive imo for early March considering it’s going to snow tomorrow afternoon 😅. Still hearing traces of thunder with some rain around
Some weather updates:
First frost/freeze for Inland CT tomorrow night. Areas in blue in the picture are the areas to get it. No frost expected at the shoreline.
Nor’easter could bring heavy rain and wind early next week. Still watching it though!
There will be a full Harvest Moon out tonight so be sure to look up to the sky around sunset! It’s going to be the biggest and brightest moon this year.
Chilly and clear night in CT tonight with most places getting into the lower 40s and even some 30s in Northern CT. Some hill towns in northwest CT may get scattered frost.
We’re on track for another beautiful day tomorrow with highs mostly in the 60s and sunny skies. Enjoy it!

Moderate snow with some heavier spots is starting to spread into Connecticut.
Heaviest snow is falling along the shoreline.
Here in Newtown, it’s already put a dusting on the ground and it’s still going.
