I am considering opening up a kickstarter/gofund me to create a full vfx remaster of jurassic park with up to date dinosaurs.
would yall be interested in that?
I still have to work out how much it would be to be able to focus less on freelance work as I am a college student.
the Chicxulub asteroid impact is so awe-inspiring it boggles the mind. this is a long but excellent description of the unholy carnage that literally paved the way for our existence. I love how small it makes me feel, humans are so insignificant on cosmic scale, it’s great
Update: I am officially moving all of my art to the other site (🦋☁️) now. I guess I’ll keep this account open, but I’m deleting all of my art here because of the dogshit new tos that allows twitter to essentially own anything you post. Hope to see others migrate as well
If they never went extinct…
We would decimate their habitats.
They would choke on our plastic and pollution.
Their horns would be poached.
We would drive them back into extinction…
Been feeling frustrated with humans’ treatment of nature recently😅
I think the local ospreys are always trying to outdo each other and when it comes to amazing fish to yank from the ocean, the ribbon fish is high on the list of rarities. I have only seen this a handful of times but every single time I have witnessed an osprey flying around with this prehistoric alien like creature clutched tightly in its talons, the osprey will look down in disbelief at its newly acquired meal and then proceed to parade it around the skies showing off to all the other birds in the area. Easily one of my favorite fish to see them haul away.
@Schmrgl@OddOblivion Oh shit. This feels accurate as fuck. I had a really bad one once that evolved into a some sort of mini stroke where I was unable to speak coherent sentences and got pins and needles sensations in my tongue and half of my body. Scary as hell
Have you ever looked towards the sky and asked an Osprey to slowly fly towards the moon and maybe pause just for a second above it? You know, for perspective? I did that yesterday and then this happened. What you don’t see is me standing knee deep in a wave that suddenly washed over the pier I was on! That water was cold! Glad it didn’t go any higher than my knees.
@MehdiBehii@NASAUniverse It’s being illustrated in a way that’s easier to see and to understand for viewers. If they showed a version of this where the black hole was more realistically invisible, it’d be much more difficult to convey what’s even going on in the simulation.
Thinking about trick-or-treating around the Milky Way? Steer clear of the supermassive black hole at its center!
Why? Get too close, and you'll be taking a plunge similar to the one in this simulation: https://t.co/4NlkRcmaoy #NASAHalloween
@Shira_Hedgie Probably going to delete all of my art and move to a new site (🦋), but just leave this account up to talk or check in with people once in a while.
