We will continue to explore all areas of the scientific frontier and follow the data wherever it leads us, in service to humanity and the public, using the best scientific practices available to us. More to come soon.
Happy holidays to our Skywatcher friends and family. Skywatcher was founded slightly over a year ago with the goal of applying disciplined science, advanced sensing, and rigorous analysis to one of the most complex and least understood challenges in aerospace and atmospheric research.
What scientific exploration does not demand is unsophisticated caricature. Recent inquiries suggest a concerted effort to misrepresent our research focus, scientific methodology, and objectives.
We are pursuing this work scientifically and rigorously, and we will share our findings as soon as they are available. The entire team is moving as quickly as possible.
We’ll have more updates to share soon.
The Skywatcher team is excited to congratulate James Fowler on his new venture contracting with the U.S. Government, and we sincerely thank him for his contributions to Skywatcher. He has played a key role in all of our field operations and in the data we have collected to date.
We are working with world-class independent scientists, physicists, and radar specialists to evaluate the data in accordance with our Discovery Framework.
In short, we have now entered our analysis phase.
Part III on Psionics is completed and going through the appropriate editing and review process. We're confident you will all really enjoy it.
More very soon!
Skywatcher Community 🧵,
The Skywatcher team is continuing to aggressively collect data and move through the process outlined in the Discovery Framework.
We've now engaged multiple high-quality independent third-party groups to provide a thorough scientific analysis.
Our objective remains the same, and moving forward we will create a clearer delineation between media releases and formal scientific analyses.
Please ignore unsubstantiated claims or gossip -- which historically has done this entire space an immense disservice.
Presenting UAP Class 2 – Tic Tac.
This class is defined by a bright white cylindrical craft observed to shift shape mid-flight—typically elongating horizontally during the transition from a hover to forward motion, with color changes from white to purple to pink.
These transitions are reflected in electro-optical (EO) sensor data, while infrared (IR) consistently detects strong thermal signatures, making this one of the most visually and thermally distinct classes we’ve tracked. Often referred to as 'Tic Tacs,' these objects also exhibit tumbling motion, abrupt altitude drops, and coordinated group behavior—without any visible means of propulsion.

Presenting UAP Class 1 – Tetra.
This class is characterized by a tumbling or rotation-like motion, observed mid-air without any visible means of propulsion. Coordinated formations are also common, appearing consistently across both electro-optical (EO) and infrared (IR) sensors. It’s one of the most reliably observed classes to date—and often where the most pressing questions start.

UAP Modules are presented by @SkywatcherHQ’s @james_fowler_, who provides commentary based on his experience capturing and reviewing this data firsthand. James is joined by @MvonRen, who contributes additional insight.
This is an ongoing media series—built to explore what’s interesting, what’s consistent, and where the conversation is headed. Some footage will be familiar; but where possible, we’ve added new clips and sensor types to deepen the characterization of recurring patterns.
While deeper tools to visualize our data are in development, this series offers a glimpse into the behavior, shape, and patterns we see emerging in each UAP class.
Today’s releases: UAP Class 1 at 6 PM EST, UAP Class 2 at 7 PM EST.
Introducing UAP Modules.
Skywatcher is launching a new series of short videos exploring the behavior of various UAP classes— including movement patterns, sensor observations, and emerging trends. Each video offers a focused, curated look at what our team is observing, one class at a time.
It was a pleasure sitting with Jesse Michels, @AlchemyAmerican, to discuss the efforts of @SkywatcherHQ to advance public awareness of the incursions in our national airspace by unknown actors. I appreciate the team we have assembled, including @AKlokus, @jakebarber2025, @GarryPNolan, @matthew_pines and many other talented individuals.
Please welcome James Fowler to Twitter! James was featured in Part II, is a Partner at Skywatcher, and leads our technology development and data collection teams.
Back in December, while I was in New Jersey investigating the mysterious drone sightings for @SkywatcherHQ, I had the pleasure of being interviewed by @rosscoulthart, alongside @jakebarber2025.
Here is the video for reference:

There have been several news stories covering China's submarine-launched drone capabilities, at least as far back as 2022. The clues are there, we just need to connect the dots.

I have signed my contract to become a member of the board of advisors to @SkywatcherHQ. I am honored to be entrusted with an actual task that I hope will help push disclosure forward and help reveal to all of us more about underlying realities of our existence and our universe. I will approach this task seriously and expend effort to help.
This post is not about bragging. I have 17.5 K followers and a lot of it is about my public presence on X dealing with the phenomena, UFO, USO and UAP.
I did very early autonomy work for drones for the U.S. from my perch as chief scientist in the Hume Center at Virginia Tech and know a lot about them.
I hope this note finds you supportive but I hope it doesn’t lead you think you will have me answer all your questions since I don’t have all your answers and in an advisory role I have a responsibility to Skywatcher to help them first and I won’t be a spokesman for them in any way. @matthew_pines has this role and like him I view his role as he does and as I view mine. TEMPORARY and not about me. Please honor this so I feel I can continue to be active in X spaces. Do not expect me to speak for any of their leaders or their team work. They have a multi year plan evolving now that has become public. DISCLOSURE NOW! and this geek feels the need to add AD ASTRA
