Our entire life is changing.

For almost four years I have been building this farm.

Retirement accounts drained - cash invested, labor and time sunk - taking a shot not at investments in mutual funds diversified into places I’d never want to fund - but in a family farm.

I’m so thankful you all are here because I’ve broken down, I’ve carted off hundreds of dead broilers, I’ve pulled out lambs, I picked up dead pigs, I turned over failed crops and still now as we head into Q1 2026 this looks like it’s about to become not just profitable for us, but an opportunity for many others.

The family farm ideal is dying and I’m interested in helping others make it work when we didn’t know where to go for the same help. I believe in the family and in the family business and the family farm.

You might not realize it, but being here, showing up, offering encouragement and correction and simply saying hi - has all been really kind to me.

So thank you. This is about to be a roller coaster of a year.

First up: KRS Stonewall Jerkson and Mamaw’s Holiday Edition are live on the website.

Stonewall is our newest regular variety of KRS with a Jamaican Jerk kick. We use the KRS Original you love, a touch of sorghum for sweetness, and real Jamaican Jerk paste. This has about the same heat level as Original.

Mamaw’s Holiday Edition is the return of our seasonal holiday variety. We take KRS Original and blend it with a delicious spiced cranberry sauce. Very mild heat and a little sweet. These are full size bottles this year and only available for a limited time!

We are also introducing a new pricing structure for KRS. With the addition of Stonewall as a full time variety, we have eliminated the 2, 3, and 4 pack bundles.

Regular price for a single bottle remains the same, but there are now automatic tiered price reductions. Buying 2-3 bottles, 4-6, 6-7 or 8+ bottles can save you up to $2.50 PER BOTTLE. No codes needed, the price changes as you add the quantity to your cart.

Full disclosure, this actually caused the price of two bottles to go up a bit. While setting this up, I realized the Pick Two had been priced incorrectly for…a long time. I had to fix that, but we increased the discount for higher volumes to make up for it.

Next up, a note about holiday shipping. The USPS cutoff this year is December 15. We will likely shut down the shop at least a day or two before that.

But honestly, do not wait that long. Things have been rough all year with shipping and early signs aren’t great for the holidays. Part of me wants to cut off shipping a full week early, just because I know that a few people likely won’t get their stuff in time.

Not just us, but if you are shopping anyone small online for the holidays, get those orders in well before the deadline.
