The start of our butterfly garden! We’re transforming this front gravel bed into a pollinator haven with flowers, birdhouses, a bird bath, and hummingbird feeders. Removing the elephant grass is just the first step toward our dream view.

A year ago, we added lattice by our carport and planted Star Jasmine. Here’s its month-by-month progress! Next, we’ll build a pergola and add a second plant so they meet in the middle.

Part 2 of planting our Proven Winners hydrangeas. The walkway already looks so much neater without the overgrown, half-dead trees. They may be small now, but soon they’ll be big, bushy, and beautiful.
