@StrikeLane Florence really enjoyed this visit - she was telling me all about talking to the residents and showing them the dance they had learned. Such a lovely thing to do and I am sure the residents enjoyed all the songs
@SamHollandBooks The woman in black is a great book but I found it best reading in the daylight!!! I've not read Hill House but would love to - let me know what it is like :-)
@cupcakelinda05 There was definitely one that you put your foot in and it used to slide towards your toes - I remember I used to be worried that it wouldn't stop in time
It's time!! π₯³
I can officially announce the publication of my sixth book - a standalone thriller, featuring dark academia, a missing woman, and a whole glorious mess of a breakup.
Come and meet impulsive, disorganised, brilliant journalist Anna - and steadfast, moral, pigheaded detective Reid. Their relationship ended with a bang eighteen months ago, but now Anna is missing, and Reid receives a troubling (in many ways) email asking for his help. Because his infuriating ex was investigating a murder, and might just have got herself in too deep...
Can Reid put his hurt and anger behind him and actually find his ex-girlfriend? And what really DID go wrong between them, anyway?

I cannot WAIT for you to read my very first standalone, set in the glittering world of Cambridge university; a world that may have a darker underside than it seems to.

Or bother your fabulous local indie bookstore about it!
@GlasgowBookworm I have tried three times and I always get to about 2 thirds in and then hit a wall. Happy to take other book recommends though to add to the TBR pile :-)
