DeMarvion Overshown is working at MLB. He likes the added responsibility and wants to be the leader of the defense. But a number of LBs are also wearing the "green dot," in practice.
Ryan Flournoy was productive (four catches). Really strong hands.
Some observations about Cowboys OTA on Tuesday. Do not get carried away with any of these but here we go ...
Cobie Durant had an impressive interception, driving on a Dak Prescott throw outside to Traeshon Holden. He did a somersault while making the grab. Later he added a PBU.
My 36-year run at the Sun-Sentinel is over. Laid off for the first time since I lost my job as an ice-rink skate guard at 17. Cost-cutting move then, they said, too. I'm a month from 65, so please keep any sympathy for my newspaper friends who didn’t make it to the finish line like I have. I’m looking forward to doing some things I want to do so before the hall narrows and the light dims so you might not be completely done with me yet. Thanks to everyone who made it such a fun run.
Fermi Paradox.
Familiar but I would also argue quantum physics in general forces us to think outside the box in ways that aren’t observable either its predictive.
How can you observe and prove dimensional travel? Light and wind itself proves layers unseen by human perception they are felt 🤷🏼♀️
Marco Rubio was briefed on recovered alien bodies. 👀
According to Leslie Kean, former Senate staffer Kirk McConnell was present for classified briefings alongside Marco Rubio about alien bodies.
They aren’t little green aliens in my opinion they are inter dimensional entities who shape shift or present as vessels at contact.
Make them look absurd enough you make people feel dumb for believing in it. I believe it’s why conspiracy theories and tin foil was introduced to suppress critical thinking. Look at the internet today. Nice little mix of truth, disinformation and satire and bc it overwhelms these days you can dismiss and suppress truth 🤷🏼♀️
Energy is real and I think it ties everything together IMO. Spirituality, religion…use the energy part manipulate the messaging and the masses. We have to have a Creator. The story behind the Creator and our purpose/existence is what keeps some of us engaged. I don’t know or pretend to know the truth but curiosity keeps the human experience interesting
It's 1980 in Austin and you had no idea that Christopher Cross's song "Sailing" was about Lake Travis⛵️
LAKE TRAVIS, TX (@fox7austin)— When you think of the definitive yacht rock anthem, you probably picture the beaches of Malibu or the coast of Maui. But the ultimate masterpiece of the genre—Christopher Cross’s iconic, 5-time Grammy-winning hit "Sailing"—actually traces its roots straight to the choppy waters of Travis County. While Cross was born and raised in San Antonio, graduating from Alamo Heights High School, it wasn’t until he moved his musical ambitions up the road to Austin that the inspiration for his signature 1980 Billboard No. 1 single truly took shape during frequent trips across Lake Travis.
Cross has often noted that the classic track wasn’t written about an ocean getaway, but rather the genuine sense of escape he discovered in Travis County as he transitioned into adulthood. Reflecting on the local inspiration behind the legendary song, Cross shared: "It's about an older friend of mine who had a boat... and we would go out on Lake Travis. It was just a transition from being a kid to being an adult... just a very wonderful way to escape the transition of growing up." That peace he found on the lake ultimately became a song universally recognized as the absolute pinnacle of yacht rock.

When “Miami Dolphins Zone” scrapes your X posts and photo, is the only solution to stop posting on X?
Or would you say that “Miami Dolphins Zone” is in no way hurting my company/my content, so I shouldn’t even worry about it?
What about when they and others scrape stories?
CEO Brad Alberts says the franchise didn’t want to leave American Airlines Center, but Dallas never found a way for the team to grow beyond AAC. Plano did. https://t.co/BtrOEZaR71
Burchett- It’s not about “little green men and flying saucers,” it’s about spending billions of dollars which are unaccounted for on programs the pentagon says don’t exist, and then in the SCIF tell us they do exist..
The Cowboys' disguises were on display today during 7on7. Cobie Durant had a diving INT. Caelen Carson and Dee Winters had PBUs.
Brian Schottenheimer: "I'm thrilled about where our pass defense is right now."
@DGretta_Author Rescue farm, voiceover work, a tin foil takes podcast, a run at hard news again at the WH and my 3 business ideas sitting in my notes section is the layered pivot when sports is done with me. Always thinking ahead Dave 🤣
And I enjoy learning and growing my own football IQ year in and out. Good stuff here from my dudes.
Fans, I’ve been catching up on disguise defenses this week. I don’t wanna sound confused when asking about it or hearing about it so I used the vast network of this beat to teach me.
Study quarters, umbrellas, match sets. We will see a lot of that in CP’s defense.
When we talk Caleb Downs what does that mean? He can be a chess piece.
Safeties will play 10-12 yds deep meaning they have flexibility back there. It forces the QB to process a lot of information pre snap and from there they can quick rotate to cover 3 or quarters and halfs.
You will hear these words a lot this summer so I’ve wanted to personally understand it more and maybe you do as well?
Didn’t grow up around football so I’m always trying to be a sponge and ask smarter questions. Let me know if I can help any of you not just all women…my own father is clueless 🤣
