✡️💙Stay at home mom, slaying it daily. More then slightly obsessed w/ politics and my kids. Due to COVID-19, I now bake a lot of bread bc carbs = love.
@Coffee_Is_love I’m not Christian but I will say that I’m 42 and this year is the first year I didn’t get a Valentine’s Day box of chocolates from my Dad and I was devastated. I don’t think there are age limits on those things.
We don’t talk enough about how the hippies all turned in to the boomers. What happened? When did the switch flip to make the children of free love, anti-war sit ins and Woodstock turn into these angry, obnoxious terrible elderly people?
@prettyocos @sk8r502 @JStein_WaPo 4. Medicaid doesn’t cover condoms 5. Not everyone qualifies for medicaid and those who don’t, can’t always afford health insurance. 6. You cant always get birth control if you’re under 18 without parental permission, you Trump sucking piece of 💩 .
@prettyocos @sk8r502 @JStein_WaPo 1. Birth control isn’t just a females responsibility, dickwad. 2. Men and women are responsible for pregnancies and the resulting babies. 3. You just said that there’s already comprehensive sex education already so why are there all these “uneducated” females running around?
@prettyocos @sk8r502 @JStein_WaPo Your constant use of the term “liberal media” means you won’t listen to anything based in fact and saying that the biggest barrier to birth control is “uniformed, uneducated females” means you’re a misogynistic pile of horse shit.
@sk8r502 @prettyocos @JStein_WaPo Comprehensive sex education is 100% not taught in school and neither is free birth control given out. Most states have severe restrictions on abortion also. Good try though
@prettyocos @JStein_WaPo There shouldn’t be a situation where someone wants a child and they can’t afford it. Nor should there be a situation where someone if forced to have a child they can’t afford.
@prettyocos @JStein_WaPo We could also give comprehensive sex education, free birth control, keep legal abortion, and switch to universal healthcare. All of which will make it so that people can have children when they want them.
I love being Jewish all the time but it’s extra awesome around this time every year when I start seeing posts from moms stressing about Elf on the Shelf. So happy not to deal that crap.
@brettgraysondad No it’s not unreasonable but it’s also not unreasonable for the spouse to say “I’m sorry I can’t do it”.mental illness isn’t like cancer. It’s not just long, it’s life long. There are constant ebbs & flows to mental illness & there’s telling how long it will be good for or bad for
