@Leicester_News I think the council are over estimating the number of users on the free bus. How are you counting passenger numbers? The council should focus on more pressing issues like cost of living, health and well being, green spaces, and local economy.

@CityMayorLeic Leicester city was awarded over £1 million as part of the government’s transforming cities fund which was spent widening the cycle path on Anstey lane which very few cyclists use. Couldn’t this money have been used for public transport instead?

@CityMayorLeic I frequently see cars and vans parked on the wide pavements in city centre for deliveries etc. which means I have to walk on the road or cross over to the other side. Surely that’s not acceptable either?

@CityMayorLeic I don’t think the bus lane on A50 is justified as the bus lane doesn’t continue down frog island so buses get stuck in traffic regardless. Traffic congestion on A50 has increased ten fold since the bus lane has been in operation.

@CityMayorLeic The perpetual roadworks in the city exacerbate match day traffic - as a Leicester city resident I think you have to just accept it. The city mayor is not going to do anything about this issue.
