I was busy celebrating my birthday yesterday on the pitch and here's how it went..

Playing in this year's 1XCUP was a great opportunity to showcase and most importantly Win but unfortunately for our team, we lost the game on penalties after snuffing out every chance the opposition got. It was one of those days where you do everything perfectly well but miss out on the ultimate goal.

Apparently, that's been the story of my life so far.
Well, we keep showing up and showing out till we reach the goal. WIN. 🦅

I woke up this morning at 6:00, and at 6:03 an email came through with Nip’s name on it. For a second, it felt like old times, when he would randomly send book recommendations early in the morning. It was from his website, but I love the way God continues to allow him to show up.

Then, seeing the billboard go up for the Foot Locker partnership on Crenshaw and Slauson was another reminder.

There is something deeply special about still being in community with him, through the work, the ideas, the people and the purpose.

His presence continues to find me in ways only God could arrange.
