I always was a chubby kid but since I entered high school I suddenly started gaining a lot of weight. And though I tried to lose it, it seemed like it was even worse with each time I tried. I got to the point my mother to tell me that I don't look as pretty as I used to. I felt so miserablethat I couldn't look in the mirror or go anywhere without thinking what other people would think/say about me. There was also this pressure of being an exemplary student and having only high marks and high expectations my parents had from me. I was so stressed about everything and I felt like I wasn't good enough.

Until in 2015 Taehyung posted this:
“When things get hard, stop for awhile and look back and see how far you’ve come. Don’t forget how rewarding it is. You are the most beautiful flower, more than anyone else in this world”

It's not like it changed my world immediately but I thought “what if”, and slightly, step by step, I started accepting myself the way I am, just a human, not a perfection my parents forced me to be. I got to understand that most of the people around me don't really care about my looks, and till this day I'm so thankful for the support I got from where I didn't expect it.

This is why I have a deep respect for Taehyung: he is always true to himself despite whatever people say or think about him, which is even more hard when you are a star of this level.

Thank you Taehyung for inspiring people with your confidence and sharing your stories with us through your art. This is really something to appreciate.

Reminder that Seokjin had the privilege of postponing his military due to his mega success & contributions to korea, but he cancelled it because he was ready to serve his country for years already. Now he is successful there too as an active duty squad leader and assistant drill instructor. 🫡🫡 I am forever proud of him, he is idol of idols.
